Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Despite our best efforts and due to recent events regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus, Autism Ontario is regretfully cancelling all events through to April 6th.

While information about COVID-19 is changing every day we are acting out of an abundance of caution to keep everyone safe. It is during this time we continue to urge you to follow the advice of the Province’s Chief Medical Officer.

While this does impact many of our Raise the Flag events for World Autism Awareness Day, we invite you to visit our Raise the Flag website so you and your family can make use of the curriculum and content and safely celebrate World Autism Awareness Day. We will announce rescheduled events as they become available on our website and through our social media outlets.

Meanwhile, we are building a resource list of activities that families can do together during the extended period beyond the March break.  We invite you to share your thoughts by completing this brief survey.   Let us know how we can stay connected and supportive to Ontario families during this time. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your local Autism Ontario Service Navigator or local Chapter for additional local supports.
