Find a Provider

What is the difference between CommunityConnect and the OAP Provider List?

CommunityConnect and the OAP Provider List are two distinct lists with different purposes!

In order to be listed on the OAP Provider List, service providers must have demonstrated and verified experience working with people on the autism spectrum.

CommunityConnect, however, only requires that the service provider has expressed a desire to work with people on the autism spectrum. “Verified” professionals on this list are those who have provided their professional registration numbers.

OAP Provider List

The Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Provider List is an online listing of Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Supervisors of behavioural services for children and youth with autism. It is a resource that Ontario families can use to search for, select, and confirm the qualifications of those providing OAP services.

CommunityConnect

Due to the upcoming regulation of behaviour analysts in Ontario (July 1, 2024), Community Connect will be under construction until further notice. Stay tuned for updates in the coming months.
