Get Involved

Autism Ontario is currently offering a variety of online events, support groups and webinars for the whole family. Whether you’re interested in learning, connecting with others, or just want to have fun, we’ve got something for everyone!

Please note: We encourage families to register for the webinars and support groups that work (time and topic) for them, and not to be restricted by the region or city listed on the registration. During online groups, the speaker will specify at the beginning of the group if some of the information will be region specific.

Share Your Stories and Creative Work with Us!

Share your story or creative works with us! If you’ve been impacted by Autism Ontario, we want to hear from you. Whether you are a donor, volunteer, a program participant, artist, self-advocate, supporter, or community member, we want to know why you believe in Autism Ontario. Personal stories and creative works inspire us and our community each day.

Find a Region

Our seven regions are located across the province. These seven regions continue to provide online support to people of all ages on the spectrum and their families. You can join their mailing list and follow them on social media to hear what they’re up to.

Events - Virtual and Home Based

We have something for everyone! We are working with local businesses and shops to provide take home kits – from ceramic painting to birdhouse making, there are lots of choices.

Webinars

Autism Ontario webinars are designed to be an interactive, easy-to-understand, resource for parents, professionals, educators, and people on the autism spectrum.. Webinars are presented in either English or French, by subject matter experts, in a discussion-based format. We have plenty of past webinars available online and more webinars on the way.

Online Support Groups

Looking for a way to connect with other families? Join Autism Ontario Service Navigators and other family members in an online support group. These groups provide an opportunity to come together, learn and share similar life and learning experiences.

Virtual OAP Information and Expense Reconciliation Sessions

Autism Ontario offers support to all families interested in accessing the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), currently registered in the program and waiting for a Childhood Budget or Interim One Time Funding or families currently receiving services. These workshops - now online! -  are designed to empower parents and caregivers with information.

CommunityConnect

CommunityConnect is a centralized community portal that is home to our service listings, learning resources, and events.

Search for:

  • Autism-Related Services (mental health professionals, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, ABA providers, etc.)

  • Learning Resources (webinars, fact sheets, articles, personal stories)
