East Region- Brockville Painting Program - Youth -11-17 Years of age
Program Description: This initiative is specifically tailored for children and youth with autism, alongside their caregivers. Fun Art aims to provide a secure and nurturing environment for exploration of various acrylic painting techniques. Each week, participants take home a new masterpiece, with all necessary supplies and instructions provided by Fun Art. For those requiring assistance, support workers attend alongside clients, engaging in the artistic process to foster a positive social experience and a sense of inclusivity.
This is not a transfer of care program, parents must remain on site to assist their children
Youth Program age 11-17 years of age:
Week One: Youth participants will explore acrylics, understanding the horizon line to craft a silhouette of a sunset beach. The session will cover essential skills like paintbrush handling, application, and basic instruction adherence.
Week Two: Progressing from the first class, youth will construct an engaging background for a sleeping fox, further honing their artistic talents.
Week Three: Continuing skill refinement, this week's theme invites youth to paint a winter cardinal, offering an advanced and captivating artistic experience.
We are excited about the potential impact of this program and look forward to the opportunity to bring art, joy, and inclusivity to these wonderful individuals.
Once registered and paid, refunds will not be issued.
