Central West – Educational Family Nature Walks at Crawford Lake

This event is currently full. However you can register now and get added to a waiting list. You will be notified if spaces become available.

Join us as we explore the rich Indigenous history of Crawford Lake with Halton Conservation.

Families will learn about what life was like in a longhouse; will visit the Three Sisters Garden to learn about Indigenous agriculture; and stroll down to Crawford Lake to learn about the relationship Indigenous peoples have with the earth. Also included is a fun archeological dig and children can participate in the wood cookie craft at the end of the program.

Families will get free parking, the 2-hour program and can stay on to meander the trails or a family picnic!
