Central East - Port Hope - Ganaraska Railway Modellers

This event is intended for families in the Central East Region (Peterborough, Durham, Simcoe, York, Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, and Grey Bruce). Priority will be given to families in this region. Your registration may be cancelled if you register and live outside of this region.

The Ganaraska Railway Modellers have invited families to enjoy a sensory-friendly hour at the Annual Port Hope Model Railway Show. The show will be open an hour early to provide demonstrations of model railroading and layout construction in a quiet setting. The Junior Engineers Layout will allow for a hands-on experience, and Thomas the Train will be on site for photo opportunities.

The sensory-friendly hour will be from 9 am to 10 am before the show opens to the public; however, families are invited to stay for as long as they would like.

This event is open to registration for autistic children, adults, and their family. A limited number of tickets are available. Max of 6 tickets per family. Please register for this event, as spaces are limited.

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we are able to share those tickets with other families.
