North Region - Virtual Holiday Social

** Registration opens November 13, 2023 at 9am**

Join us for a fun-filled virtual Holiday social on Saturday, December 9, 2023 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. EST! We will play trivia, have personal visits with Santa and he will read us a story! Attendees will have four chances to win $25 gift cards (of their choice) when they enter the Craft Contest, Colouring/Drawing Contest and Writing Contest!

The first 50 registrants will receive a craft kit shipped to home. Limit of 1 kit per family; kits will be delivered to your home address, so please ensure we have your up-to-date information. This would be the perfect craft to submit for the Craft Contest!

Enter the following contests for your chance to win your choice of $25 gift card! (All ages welcome)

‘Craft’ Contest:  Make a craft, attend the North Region Virtual Social event and show it on your screen to enter the contest!

‘Colouring/Drawing’ Contest: Colour your favourite colouring page or Autism Ontario’s themed colouring pages or create a drawing, take a photo, scan or photocopy as clearly as possible and send to north@autismontario.com. Submit by Friday December 8, 2023 @ 12:00pm (noon).

‘Writing’ Contest: Create a writing of choice using Autism Ontario’s themed writing pages (example: short story, poem, jokes, etc.) that can be read aloud and shared with autism families at the next North Region Social! Must be typed less than 5000 words. Send to north@autismontario.com by Friday December 8, 2023 @ 12:00pm (noon).

Door Prize: Attendees of the North Region Virtual Holiday Social will automatically be entered for a chance to win! One entry per screen.

Winners will be announced (for all 4 contests) at the North Region Virtual Holiday Social. Must be in attendance to win!

In order to participate in this event, you will need to be able to access the ZOOM platform;  and registrants will receive their link prior to the event.

Please note: The submissions for these contests and photos taken during the North Region Virtual Social will be shared and used for Autism Ontario communications and may be published on social media and/or the Autism Ontario magazine.

This event is intended for families in the North Region. These include (but are not limited to) Kenora, Rainy River, Thunder Bay, Cochrane, Algoma, Sudbury, Manitoulin, Parry Sound, Timiskaming, and Muskoka. Registrations outside this area may not be accepted.
