North Region - Virtual Presentation: Michael Jacques (Author of "Can't Read. Can't Write. Here's My Book")

Autism Ontario invites you to a virtual presentation by Michael Jacques (Author of "Can’t Read. Can’t Right. Here’s My Book"). 

Date: Tuesday November 21, 2023 

Time: 7:00-8:00pm EST

Location: Online (Zoom login information will be sent over email once you have registered.)

Fee: $5 per registration

Each registration will receive a copy of Michael’s book “Can’t Read. Can’t Write. Here’s My Book” shipped to home. 

Those who attend the virtual presentation will also have a chance to win Michael’s children’s book that he co-authored with Heather Gale titled, “I Belong: Can I Play?”

About the speaker:

Michael is a public speaker and activist, who in 2018 wrote and self-published Can’t Read, Can’t Write, Here’s My Book using speech-to-text technology.

At a young age, Michael was diagnosed with autism and an intellectual disability. Never one to shy away from obstacles, Michael has made his authorial debut, sharing experiences from his life to help audiences understand accepting and belonging. His story demonstrates the empowerment that comes from being comfortable in your own skin, knowing your strengths, valuing relationships, and giving back to your community.

Please note that this event is for families in the North region only. Autism Ontario reserves the right to cancel registrations that do not reside in this area.

Books will be delivered to your home address, so please ensure we have your up-to-date information.
