Central West – Adapted Soccer Program for Autistic Children

Autistic youth are invited to join us for our very own Autism Ontario soccer experience!
Children born between 2009 and 2017 can join their own “abilities” team hosted by the North Mississauga Soccer Club and running weekly from May 27th to August 19th.
The program provides an opportunity to enjoy the game of soccer. Let's celebrate everyone’s participation in soccer together with North Mississauga Soccer Club!
The program's focus is to develop the players at their own pace in a fun and healthy environment. We want to promote inclusion and help the players with soccer skill development (dribbling, shooting, passing goalkeeping), team play, making friends, and being active through soccer for life. The program is led by Nancy Evans, Registered Behavior Technician and All Abilities trained Soccer Coach.
Participants will receive a soccer uniform (jersey, shorts, socks), a take-home soccer ball. At the end of the program, the players will receive a participation certificate and a medal!
Volunteer caregivers welcome as we seek a 1:1 volunteer to child ratio.
