North Region (Sudbury - Coniston) Healthy Eating on a Budget (Adults & Caregivers)
Join Autism Ontario and TLC for Brighter Futures for these in-person cooking classes!
Cooking and eating on a budget can be tasty, healthy and fun especially if you're in a group. Based on predetermined recipes we will discuss kitchen safety, ingredients, prepare a recipe and share the meal together. This is an interactive workshop to help you choose inexpensive healthy meals in a team environment, and (the first 8) adult participants are provided with an apron for the class that they can take home! During the cooking class, there will be a space for caregivers to socialize and partake in games or art and craft activities coordinated by TLC.
