North Region - Thunder Bay - Family Day Painting
Join Autism Ontario and The Creative Company for a Family Day painting activity.
Families can sign up to visit The Creative Company at 1134 Roland St., Thunder Bay, on February 20th, 2023, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, and choose their paint kit to paint with their family under the guidance of artist Steve Gerow.
Families can sign-up for 2 kits per family; 1 child and 1 parent/guardian. Please e-mail ariana.mclean@autismontario.com if you'd like to request more spots, as space is limited.
The Creative Company aims to help share the benefits we receive as artists with everyone of all ages. Taking time to quiet your mind and engage in a creative activity can reduce stress, trigger happiness, instill pride, and spark inspiration.
Steve Gerow is a self-taught Canadian Artist born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is of Scottish, English, and Irish descent. His need to create started at an early age, becoming his source of therapy and survival.
