Kitchener-Sensory Friendly Screening of Detective Pikachu at Kitchener Public Library

Kitchener Public Library in partnership with Autism Ontario is delighted to present Sensory Friendly Screenings. This program provides a sensory friendly environment for individuals with autism spectrum disorder or anyone for whom the environment is suitable and their families to view a film in a family-friendly theatre environment.
These screenings are presented in a lights up, sound down environment.
We will be showing a private screening of Pokemon Detective Pikachu. In a world where people collect Pokémon to do battle, a boy comes across an intelligent talking Pikachu who seeks to be a detective.
Whether you missed the movie in the theatre, or it's worth seeing again, join us in our 200-seat Theatre for a big-screen experience.
Doors open at 9:00AM. Movie starts promptly at 9:30AM.

Spaces are limited. Registration is required.
This event is for children/ youth/adults with ASD. The entire family and friends are welcome to join us, including siblings.
Families are encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks, or grab a bite at Hacienda Coffee in the Reading Lounge.
