East- Brockville Cooking Program Age 7-11

Age 7-11

A sweet four-week baking adventure designed just for young chefs! In this hands-on
program, children will learn foundational baking skills while building confidence, creativity
and kitchen safety awareness, all in a fun and supportive small-group setting.

Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain onsite.

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
 

Week 1 (May 10th): Cookies
Young bakers will master measuring, mixing and baking classic cookies while learning
about ingredients and oven safety.

Week 2 (May 17):Cupcakes
Children will bake and decorate their own cupcakes, exploring piping techniques,
frosting basics and creative presentation.

Week 3 (May 24): Scones
We’ll focus on mixing methods and flavour combinations as kids create delicious
homemade scones to take home and share.

Week 4 (May 31): Brownies
Kids will learn how to make rich, fudgy brownies from scratch while practicing mixing
techniques, understanding baking times and exploring fun add-ins like chocolate chips or
sprinkles.

Time: 12;00 pm - 2:00 pm
Cost: $20.00/person. Once registered and paid, refunds will not be issued.
