North - Sudbury - Taste of the World: Adult Social (April)

Join Autism Ontario and TLC Sudbury for our monthly Taste of the World: Adult Social for autistic adults (18+)!

Each month, a different country is introduced to give participants a chance to explore new flavours and learn about the country. April is Japanese! 

In addition to delicious food, participants will engage in trivia about each featured country, adding an educational and interactive element to the evening.

Cost: Free

Important Details: 

  • 3-6 appetizers will be ordered for the group to share. Additional food/beverage purchases will be at the family's expense.
  • This event is for Autistic adults (18+) who attend events and programs independently, without careperson support, as well as for Autistic adults (18+) who require a careperson(s) to support them.
  • Autism Ontario does not provide transfer-of-care or careperson support for its programs. If an Autistic person requires support to attend, the careperson is expected to remain on site to provide support as needed during the event or activity.  If accommodations are needed, please inquire by emailing (rhea.walsh@autismontario.com).

Note: All participants are required to sign a Code of Conduct annually.
