South – Niagara Falls – Celebrate the Spectrum With Autism Ontario at Heartland

Come and join Autism Ontario as we celebrate the spectrum at Heartland Forest on April 2!

We will be offering families the opportunity to explore and engage in your creative side with us and in nature.

Activities Include:

• -A special visitor will stop in to meet the children and take photos (if families wish)
• -A bubble station
• -Nature Sensory Scavenger Hunt
• -Autism CARE Experience by Addison Tuckwell
• -Flag colouring
• -Reptiles and scenery to view indoors
• -Outdoor nature walk (if families wish)
• -Strength Craft Chain

Following this event, the Niagara Falls will illuminate in recognition of World Autism Day.

Important Details:

• -We advise families to dress for the weather (warm clothing, boots, hats)
• -Wear clothing your child (children) can get messy
• -This is a drop in event, stay as long as you wish!
• -This is not a transfer of care event, caregivers are required to stay with their children

There will be refreshments and snacks available that are not gluten free.
