Registration opens January 9th at 12:00 pm.

This hands-on workshop is perfect for caregivers to explore their creativity while crafting a unique, ceramic bowl.

The Try It Class gives you a Try at the wheel and a Try at hand building. Come join us in this 2-hour class as we explore the world of working with clay. How it works is 4 people will work on the wheel with a teacher, while the rest of the group hand builds, then we switch spots. Some imagination is required for hand building. We do have samples for ideas, lots of cookie cutters, stamps and objects to mold on for you to work with. Once the first group is finished with the wheel, we do a little clean up and the next group is invited to take their turn.  Once the class is finished your projects will dry for about a week and then you are welcome to return to glaze them.

This special place allows us to connect with other caregivers, relax, socialize, share stories and have FUN! This will be a small group with a chance to chat with other caregivers, to make friendships and support each other in your journey. Autism Ontario staff will also be present and available to chat about supports.

Please register for this event, as spaces are limited. This event is open for registration to caregivers of autistic individuals. Limit 2 caregivers per family. This is a caregiver event and not suitable for children.

Registration: $10.00/caregiver. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
