Central East – Peterborough – Caregiver Social: Cooking Class

Get ready to chop, slurp, and connect!

Join us for an evening just for caregivers! A relaxed social event centered around good food and great conversation. Together, we’ll cook and enjoy Phở Glass Noodles with Ginger Chicken, a comforting and flavorful dish that’s as nourishing as it is delicious.

This hands-on cooking class will be facilitated by Chef Lisa Dixon, who will guide you step-by-step through preparing the meal, followed by a shared dinner and conversation with fellow caregivers. Fill your hearts and bellies while building community and connection.

On the menu:
Phở Glass Noodles with Ginger Chicken. Start with tender glass noodles, add your favourite veggies, ginger-poached chicken, and our signature bone broth for a wholesome, satisfying bowl of goodness!

This special place allows us to connect with other caregivers, relax, socialize, share stories and have FUN! This will be a small group with a chance to chat with other caregivers, to make friendships and support each other in your journey. Autism Ontario staff will also be present and available to chat about supports.

Please register for this event, as spaces are limited. This event is open for registration to caregivers of autistic individuals. Limit 2 caregivers per family. This is a caregiver event and not suitable for children. 
Cost: $10.00. No refunds.

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
