Air Transat and Toronto Pearson International Airport invite families to participate in Ready, Set Fly…with YYZ

What is Ready, Set, Fly?
This program allows families to participate in a mock/practice visit to the airport. Families will go through the check-in process, pass through security, board the plane, and sit in their assigned seats. The plane will not take off; a flight attendant will go through the safety demonstration. This program aims to add another tool that families can use in their upcoming trip but also an opportunity for caregivers to ask questions to ensure they are well prepared.
This event aims to bridge the gap between the airport environment and the needs of individuals with autism and neurodiverse conditions. This will result in improved services and a more inclusive travel experience for all passengers.

Individuals and families looking to participate in the event are required to:
• Bring a Canadian government-issued photo ID. A passport is preferred. If a child has no photo ID a health card or birth certificate is required. Additional individuals cannot be added on the day of event, pre-registration is required.
• Sign a Toronto Pearson Terminal Tours Family Waiver
• Learn about sunflower lanyards and pick it up the day of the event. -LINK HERE- (No need to order)
• Fill out the online feedback survey at the end of the event.

Registration Process:  
Step 1- Register to reserve your spot.  
Step 2- Follow the link in your confirmation email to complete the necessary information.  
Step 3.- Keep your confirmed QR code safe and bring it with you on the day of the event.
