Central East - Oshawa - Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival

Come out and experience a Canadian tradition in the sugarbush at Purple Woods Conservation Area in Oshawa!

Sap collected from hundreds of sugar maple trees is boiled on-site into delicious maple syrup. On your self-guided tour, you can visit the modern evaporator and enjoy games and activities. Soper's Creek Wildlife Rescue is scheduled to be onsite as part of the festival activities. 

Important:

This event is open to registration for autistic children, autistic adults, their siblings, and caregivers. Max. 6 tickets per family.

Check-in with Autism Ontario Staff 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. After this time, staff will no longer be on-site, and any unclaimed tickets will be forfeited. Please plan accordingly. Families are welcome to stay until the festival closes.

Registration Cost: $5.00 per person. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Children 2 and under are free. 

Please note that food and drinks will be available at your expense. Please bring cash.

Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain onsite.

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
