Provincial - Managing Change: Strategies for Transitions

At Autism Ontario we recognize that transitions and changes in routine can be difficult for the whole family. We invite you to join Kristin Gunby, M.S., R.B.A. (Ont.), BCBA, to discuss how to help your family embrace change.

This workshop will provide information on how to prepare for and manage transitions by:

• Co-regulating and connecting
• Promoting predictability
• Mindfully scheduling
• Using transition objects or items

This workshop is appropriate for parents and caregivers of autistic children aged 6-12, as well as professionals working with this population.
