East, Ottawa – Relaxed performance of Tara Luz Danse: Les bâtons (Bilingual)

We invite you to “Celebrate the Spectrum” with us at the Shenkman Arts Centre. Transport yourself to another world with Les bâtons, a playful and dynamic contemporary dance performance by Tara Luz Danse, presented in the intimate setting of Richcraft Theatre.

This imaginative work whisks the audience away on a whimsical journey to another world, one where simple sticks inspire. Four characters explore different scenes using colourful and musical batons, creating surprising new forms and images and transforming these simple objects in unexpected ways.

Choreographed by the ever-creative Anik Bouvrette, Les bâtons keeps rhythm with accompanying sounds and music, while performers use their bodies and their ingenuity to keep audiences of all ages enthralled.
