Toronto Region – Virtual Children’s Minecraft Intensive (Grades 3-7)

Autism Ontario partners with The Cube School of Technology to offer children on the spectrum in Grades 3-7 a one-week Minecraft intensive.
Calling all Minecraft fans! Join us for an immersive and interactive week filled with all things Minecraft! Students will embark on Creative build challenges and engage in exciting Survival Minecraft adventures while fostering new friendships and connections among fellow participants. Instructors will guide participants through various activities, encouraging collaboration and interactivity.
To participate, participants are required to have their own personal Minecraft Java Edition account. Please verify the requirements before signing up.
The Java edition of Minecraft is not compatible with Chrome/Chromebooks and cannot be played on an iPad.
Families are responsible for purchasing Minecraft: Java Edition for the program at a cost of $40. If this is not possible for your family, please contact joy.alma@autismontario.com
Requirements:
- A computer or laptop (PC, Mac, or Linux)
- Note: Chromebooks are not compatible with Minecraft.
- A personal Minecraft Java Edition account
- Note: Minecraft's Bedrock Edition is not compatible with the activity server.
- A microphone and headphones/earbuds
- A mouse (with easy-to-use, left and right click buttons – not a track pad)
- A reliable internet connection
- A webcam (optional, but highly recommended!)
- A second monitor or large screen (to view Zoom)

Once registered and paid, refunds will not be issued.

Please note that this event is for families in Toronto only. All other registrations will be cancelled.
Limit 1 participant per family. Please enrol in either the Tuesday or Thursday class but not both as space is limited.
