Central East - Vaughan - Cheesy Cooking Class (7 yrs+)

This program is intended for families in the Central East Region (Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, Durham, York, Simcoe, Grey-Bruce). Priority will be given to families in this region. If you register and live outside this region, your registration will be cancelled.

Registration opens on August 12 at 12:00 p.m.

Ignite your child’s passion for cooking and watch their culinary skills soar! Get your junior chef ready for a cooking experience filled with delicious discoveries, and hands-on learning as they come together to create a delicious dishes while having a blast with their peers. The cooking class will consist of an introduction, hands-on cooking instruction and eating the meal we prepared together. We will be making savoury cheesy scones and stuffed mac n' cheese peppers.

This event is open to registration for autistic children ages 7 and up. Maximum 2 children per family.

Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain onsite.

Cost: $5.00/child. Once registered and paid, refunds will not be issued. 

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
