West – Windsor - Community Safety Village

Bring the entire family to discover The Community Safety Village, featuring more than 10 scaled-down buildings, roadways, operational traffic lights, signs, and a railway crossing.
The Community Safety Village is an interactive, educational facility where children learn about fire, traffic, and personal safety.
Police Program: Families will learn to distinguish between an emergency and a non-emergency and understand when and how to make a 9-1-1 call.
Fire Program: Families will meet Sparky and will identify what is safe and dangerous – items that are hot or can get hot slowly. Also, be introduced to smoke alarms, home escape planning, and essential fire safety messages.
Paramedic Program: Families will learn the importance of handwashing, first aid, and an introduction to the role of a paramedic.

Families can bring their own snacks for breaktime
*There will be loud sounds and bright lights*
**Please only register the autistic child/children, and their siblings. We do not need parents or caregivers to register for this event**
