Toronto Region – In-Person Cubby Robot Program at Little Robot Friends (age 8-13)

Autism Ontario partners with Little Robot Friends for Halloween-themed Cubby Robot fun. 

Choose from 1 of 3 time slots for a 90-minute Cubby Robot workshop. 

In this program, the students will learn the basics of electronics: inputs / outputs / processing. They will then learn how to program a Cubby Robot with a simple program to respond to input, think about it, then generate an output. We might even program a simple song into the Cubby.

While this is an introductory-level workshop, we strongly encourage participants to have a familiarity with basic computer usage such as navigating a screen with a mouse or touchscreen, opening and closing applications, and using a keyboard. 

Computers will be provided, but if you wish to bring your own that is fine too. Just remember your power cord!

Cubby kits are NOT take home! Little Robot Friends can discount them to $50 for participants (normally retail for $80) if you choose to purchase one
