Provincial - Sibshop (8– 13 years)
** Registration opens November 21 @ 12:00 pm **
Sibshops are lively, pedal-to-the-metal celebrations of the many contributions made by brothers and sisters of kids with special needs. Sibshops acknowledges that being the brother or sister of a person with autism is, for some, a good thing; for others, a not-so-good thing; and for many, somewhere in between.
Things that will occur:
- Meet other sibs
Have fun
Talk about the good and not-so-good parts of having a sib with special needs with others who “get it”;
Play some great games;
Explore how other brothers and sisters handle sticky situations they sometimes face by brothers and sisters;
Laugh
Learn about the services their brothers and sisters receive, and
Have some more fun!
Date: Tuesday, December 12
Time: 4:30 PM
The fun will occur over Zoom, and registrants will receive their link before the event.
Once registered, you will receive an email asking you to complete a short survey to provide us with the information to best plan the classes.
(English-only event)
Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
