Kitchener-Family Movie "The Lion King"

Kitchener Public Library in partnership with Autism Ontario is delighted to present Sensory Friendly Screenings. This program provides a sensory friendly environment for individuals with autism spectrum disorder or anyone for whom the environment is suitable and their families to view a film in a family-friendly theatre environment.
These screenings are presented in a lights up, sound down environment.
We will be showing a private screening of The Lion King. A young lion prince flees his kingdom only to learn the true meaning of responsibility and bravery.
Whether you missed the movie in the theatre, or it's worth seeing again, join us in our 200-seat Theatre for a big-screen experience.
Doors open at 9:30AM. Movie starts promptly at 10:00AM.
Notes
Spaces are limited. Registration is required.
This event is for children/ youth/adults with ASD. The entire family and friends are welcome to join us, including siblings.
Families are encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks, or grab a bite at Hacienda Coffee in the Reading Lounge.
