Get ready for a different STEM adventure each week at the University of Western Ontario!
Students will explore coding, engineering, and artificial intelligence through hands-on challenges and creative builds.

Week 1-Micro:bit Animals (Coding & Technology)
Learn how to code using block programming and bring technology to life! Students will program a Micro:bit to display their favorite animals and see how simple code can create fun digital designs.

Week 2-Seismograph Builders (Civil Engineering)
Can you detect an earthquake? Students will build their own working model seismograph to measure vibrations and learn how engineers study earthquakes and protect buildings.

Week 3-Wind-Powered Elevators (Mechanical Engineering
Put your engineering skills to the test! Students will design and build a wind-powered elevator capable of lifting a heavy load using creative problem-solving and teamwork.

Week 4-AI Quick Draw Challenge (Artificial Intelligence)
Step into the world of Artificial Intelligence! Students will play a drawing-and-guessing game to discover how AI learns to recognize images and how machines can be trained to think a little like humans.
