North - Thunder Bay - Clay Workshop (Adults & Caregivers)


Get creative and muddy your hands in this fun, beginner-friendly clay hand building workshop - no pottery wheel required! In this session, you'll learn basic hand building techniques.
- A pottery instructor will guide you through the process of creating forms with clay and your hands.
- Each participant will have their own table space and all materials will be provided by the studio.
Your handmade creation will be ready to take home the same day, a perfect keepsake or gift!
Cost: Free
- Participants must be able to follow 3-step instructions.
- This program is for autistic adults and their caregiver. Max. 3 per family.
- This event is for Autistic adults (18+) who attend events and programs independently, without careperson support, as well as for Autistic adults (18+) who require a careperson(s) to support them. Autism Ontario does not provide transfer-of-care or careperson support for its programs. If an Autistic person requires support to attend, the careperson is expected to remain on site to provide support as needed during the event or activity. If accommodations are needed, please inquire by emailing willow.lem@autismontario.com. Support persons must be 18 years of age or older to attend the event.
Note: All participants are required to sign a Code of Conduct annually.
