Central East, Whitby - Learn to Play Basketball Program (6-14 yrs)

**Registration opens April 7 at 12:00 pm**

Children ages 6-14 can join their very own autistic basketball team hosted by the Jump Basketball and running weekly for 5 weeks every Sunday in May.  

Children will have a fun and engaging sports experience with an opportunity to make new friends and work on social skills. Outcomes include learning dribbling, passing and shooting.  Short games at the end of each session will be fun, engaging and non-competitive.

Participants will receive a T-shirt and a medal at the end of the event. Each participant will also be given their own basketball to use during the program and take home afterward. 

This program is for autistic individuals ages 6 - 14 years old. This is not a transfer-of-care program. Parents are required to stay on-site.

Because space is limited, we ask that participants registering be available for all five sessions.

Dates: Sundays, May 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31
Time: 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm
Cost: $25.00/person. Once registered and paid, refunds will not be given.

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we are able to share those tickets with other families.
