West-Windsor-Adult Drumming and Movement

This group uses music and movement to support emotional well-being, focus, physical activity, and social connection. It is led by a board-certified music therapist and is designed to be welcoming and accessible for all adults, no musical experience is needed.
During each session, participants will:
• Play drums together in simple, structured rhythms to help with relaxation, focus, and feeling grounded.
• Try creative drumming activities to express feelings and release stress.
• Move to music (seated or standing) to improve coordination, balance, and body awareness.
• Practice call-and-response and group rhythm games to build communication and connection with others.
Activities can be adapted for different physical and cognitive abilities. Participants may sit or stand, depending on comfort and need.
This group offers a supportive space where adults can connect, move, express themselves, and have fun through rhythm and music.
