West-London-Junior Chefs (Ages 7-12)

Join Autism Ontario and Big Spoons, Little Spoons for this evening of cooking at Growing Chefs! Learn valuable new cooking skills while trying new food! This event is for children age 7-12.

Join us for a hands-on cooking class featuring a classic French chicken soup and a simple apple crumble. We’ll work together to prepare a comforting meal, focusing on approachable techniques and everyday ingredients.

Upon registration, you will receive a short questionnaire that is to be filled out regarding allergies, support needed for your child, and any behaviors we should be made aware of.

Children may be using sharp utensils and hot equipment in the kitchen with supervision. Participants should have their hair up if it's long, wear closed toe shoes and bring a water bottle. Please note that the use of cellphones during the event is discouraged.

This is not a transfer of care event. Parents are required to remain on site for the duration of the event. 

Parking is available onsite.
