North - Sudbury - Art & Expression Program (ages 6-12)

**Registration opens December 17th 2025 at 12PM**

Autism Ontario and the Adult & Youth Enrichment Center are thrilled to offer an Arts & Expression Program for children aged 6-12 years old!

Each activity has been selected for accessibility, high engagement and therapeutic benefits, ensuring every child can participate meaningfully and experience success.  

Week 1: Thursday, February 12th 2026 from 6:00PM-7:30PM
Canvas Painting: Create a "favourite place" artwork to support creativity, emotional expression and fine-motor skills.

Week 2: Thursday, February 19th 2026 from 6:00PM-7:30PM
Clay Sculpting: Build a unique creature using air-dry clay, encouraging imagination and tactile exploration.

Week 3: Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 6:00PM-7:30PM
Music & Rhythm: Explore drums, shakers and rhythm sticks to build coordination, auditory processing and communication.

Week 4: Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 6:00PM-7:30PM
Drama & Movement. Participate in simple movement games and mini-performances to support confidence and expressive communication.

Cost: FREE

Due to limited class size, we ask that all participants who register can attend all weeks of the program. 

Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to stay with their child and assist where needed.
