Central East – Richmond Hill - Ventastic - Reimagining the Art of Ventriloquism (autistic adults 18 yrs+ & caregivers)

Autistic adults and caregivers are invited to join us for an afternoon of sharp wit, creative storytelling, and masterful ventriloquism with acclaimed performer Michael Harrison.

Ventastic introduces a cast of bold, one-of-a-kind characters and delivers a clever, contemporary twist on this classic art form. Expect comedy, unexpected moments, and a performance where tradition meets innovation, designed to entertain, surprise, and delight an adult audience.

Kindly note that this is not a relaxed performance. All participants must register.

This gathering is for autistic adults aged 18 and above who do not require one-on-one support (individual support is not provided; one staff member will be present to sign participants in). Parents or support persons must register and stay if the adult requires one-on-one support. 

Cost: This event is provided at no cost, thanks to generous funding from Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. 

Autism Ontario Staff will be there to greet you and distribute your tickets from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. After this time, staff will not be available, and your tickets will be forfeited. Please plan accordingly.

Registered participants will receive an email closer to the event date with any and all updates pertaining to this event. If you have not received an email, be sure to check your spam/junk folders.

Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain on-site.

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please notify us so we can offer those tickets to other families.
