Join Sensory Explorers 
 When: Saturdays, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Cost: $5 

Description: This monthly program (Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm) is designed for children, up to 6 years old, with autism and their caregivers to enjoy a safe, inclusive, and sensory-friendly environment. Families can explore a variety of activity stations at their own pace, including sensory play, calming spaces, creative art, movement area (in the mini-gym or outside), snack area (for snacks brought by the family), and story time. A caregiver lounge could also be available for rest and connection. Each station would be staffed by Maltby Centre's Respite Workers, with visual supports, adaptive tools, and quiet accommodations available. The program aims to offer a positive, low-pressure experience that supports sensory regulation, communication, and caregiver well-being.

Location: 31 Hyperion Court, Kingston - in our Respite and Autism Spaces

This will not be a transfer of care event and the Caregiver must stay with the child. 

Please note we strive to offer tickets to as many families as we can, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we are able to share those tickets with other families.
