Toronto – Tour of the Native Canadian Center of Toronto
** Registration opens February 23 2025 12pm**

Join Autism Ontario at the Native Canadian Center of Toronto for a tour! The tour starts outside for 15 - 25 minutes and then the remainder of the tour is a walkthrough of the property.
Outside highlights are the history of the totem pole and sacred fire pit, relating to Wheel Teachings. Inside highlights are the programs and services the NCCT offer to the local community as well as a gift shop. There is 5% Indigenous art throughout the property.
We’ll be treated to the largest collection of Canadian Indigenous artwork in the city of Toronto. We will learn key phrases from the traditional languages used in the Tkaronto (Toronto) area. We’ll receive information on major local landmarks and historical events, as well as traditional ceremonies and sacred practices.
Cost: $5 per person.
Date and time: Monday March 16th, 10:30-12pm
Autism Ontario does not offer transfer-of-care. Caregivers must remain at the NCCT for the duration of the event.
