Provincial - Everyday Strategies for Parents and Caregivers: Toileting Made Easier

Toileting is an important daily skill that helps children feel more comfortable, independent, and confident in their routines. This workshop offers parents and caregivers practical tools to support their child’s toileting needs at home.
In this workshop, we'll explore ways to
- Build routines
- Create a bathroom environment that feels safe and comfortable
- Reduce stress for both children and caregivers
You’ll leave with practical strategies you can start using right away.
Participants will:
- Learn helpful strategies to support toileting
- Discover how small changes and routines at home can make toileting easier
- Gain ideas to help children feel more confident and independent
This workshop is designed for parents, caregivers, teachers, and anyone supporting autistic children ages 2–10 who are looking for straightforward, practical ideas to make toileting.
