North - Virtual Holiday Social

** Registration opens November 13, 2025 at 9:00am**

This event is intended for families in the North Region. These include Kenora, Rainy River, Thunder Bay, Cochrane, Algoma, Sudbury, Manitoulin, Parry Sound, Timiskaming, and Muskoka. Registrations outside this area may not be accepted.

Get ready to jingle all the way and join Autism Ontario for a Virtual Holiday Social! We’re just jolly to be hosting trivia, games, and will welcome a special holiday guest: Santa! 

Cost: Free

When: Thursday, December 17, 2025 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. EST

Special Guest: Santa Claus himself will make a special appearance to spread holiday cheer. All families who attend virtually will have the opportunity to visit with Santa 1 on 1 with the help of our Autism Ontario holiday elves!

Attendees will have three chances to win $25 gift cards of their choice! (All ages welcome) 

Craft Contest: Display your holiday spirit with creative crafts for a shot at our wheel of magic.

Writing Contest: Share your heartwarming and whimsical holiday stories for a chance to win.

Door Prize: Every attendee will be entered to win our holly jolly door prize where a spin of our winter wheel will decide our winner. You must be in attendance on the day of the social to enter this contest.

Contest Submission Guidelines: 

• Please submit no later than December 15, 2025 to willow.lem@autismontario.com. 
• Winners will be announced (for all 3 contests) at the North - Virtual Holiday Social. Must be in attendance to win!

Important Details: 

• While we love to share people’s stories and crafts, our focus during the social will be on holiday-themed activities and adventures. Rest assured, all stories and crafts will be showcased on the Autism Ontario – North Region social media page after the event. Families who prefer not to have their creations shared on social media can request privacy for their submissions. 
• In order to participate in this event, you will need to be able to access the Teams platform;  and registrants will receive their link prior to the event.
