Central East – Woodview - Petroglyphs

Join us in learning about the largest known concentration of Indigenous rock carvings (petroglyphs) in Canada, depicting turtles, snakes, birds, humans and more; this sacred site is known as Kinoomaage-Waapkong (The Teaching Rocks). Explore how this sacred site plays an integral role in Algonkian spirituality, culture, and connections to the land through artistic expression.
Families are encouraged to pack a picnic and explore the park after the program, with other families in your community.
This event is open to autistic individuals, their siblings and caregivers
Cost: $10.00/family. 1 vehicle per family. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
You will receive a park entrance pass the day of the event, valid only on October 5, 2025.

Registered families will receive an email closer to the event date with any and all updates pertaining to this event. If you have not received an email be sure to check your spam/junk folders.
Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain onsite.
Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
