Central West – Burlington - Cyber safety Lego Robotics Workshop

This program is intended for autistic teens ages 13-17 in the Halton Region, in partnership with the University of Waterloo’s Engineering Outreach, Engineering Science Quest (ESQ) Team.
Join UW's Engineering Outreach’s ESQ Team in this fun and engaging Lego Robotics STEM workshop focused on online safety! Using LEGO Spike Prime kits, participants will build and program a drivable robot using block coding. Their robot will navigate an obstacle course while they apply their knowledge of cyber-attacks and online safety. Get ready for an exciting night of learning, collaborating, playing games, and having fun!
No prior coding experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm!
Important details:
This is not a transfer of care program. Parents/caregivers are required to stay onsite.
Cost: $5 per ticket
