Central East – Tiny – Awenda Discovery Program

** Registration opens June 18 @ 12:00 pm **

Families will be invited to learn about the unique geologic landscape of Awenda through a short hike led by Discovery staff along the shoreline. Hands-on activities and engaging demonstrations will be facilitated by staff with the option for self-guided exploration. Nature journaling supplies and paints will be set out for self-exploration with guidance from staff. A self-guided hike will be set up along the Beach Trail for families to use at their own pace.  

Families are encouraged to pack a picnic and explore the park after the program, with other families in your community.

This event is open to registration for autistic individuals and their family. Please register for this event, as spaces are limited.

Cost: $10.00/family. Limit 5 people per family. 1 vehicle per family. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

You will receive a park entrance pass the day before the event, valid only on August 6, 2025.

Parent/Caregiver supervision is required. This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain onsite.

Please note that we strive to offer tickets to as many families as possible, but tickets are limited. If, for any reason, you are registered and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can share those tickets with other families.
