West-London-Cooking Class- Growing Chefs! Ages 7-12

Autism Ontario is excited to partner Growing Chefs, and Big Spoons Little Spoons London to offer an engaging 2-week cooking program!
Ages: 7-12 years old.
What to Expect: Join a Chef to explore seasonal flavours and exciting twists on much-loved recipes that are great for the whole family!
Participants with be assisted step-by-step through the recipes, helping your young chefs develop confidence, enthusiasm and cooking skills.
Food Allergies: Please reach out to us if a participant has any food allergies or restrictions before registration so we can make appropriate accommodations.
January 21st Menu:
Canadian Winter Classics - Canadian winters, though cold and snowy, are the perfect time to indulge in hearty and comforting dishes that showcase the country's rich culinary heritage. Our classic Canadian winter menu features locally sourced ingredients, bringing warmth and flavor to the table. We'll be making maple squash soup, donairs, and baked apple fritters.
January 28th menu:
Hors D'oeuvres - Hors d'oeuvres are an essential element of social gatherings, thus offering an opportunity to explore the art of transforming simple ingredients into exquisite appetizers, while also emphasizing creativity and presentation. We'll be making Caesar salad skewers, cheddar fondue with apple slices, sweet and sour meatballs and chocolate dipped clementines with sea salt.
This is not a transfer of care event. The parent/caregiver is required to remain onsite.
