Ready, Set, Fly…2024 has concluded. We want to Thank Toronto Pearson International Airport and Air Transat for their dedication to this program. For those eager travellers who are looking to stay updated on future Ready, Set, Fly initiatives please register your family to receive an email of any updates. What is Ready, Set, Fly? 
This program allows families to participate in a mock/practice visit to the airport. Families will be escorted from checking in at the gate to sitting on the plane. The plane will not take off; a flight attendant will go through the safety demonstration. This program aims to add another tool that families can use in their upcoming trip but also an opportunity for caregivers to ask questions to ensure they are well prepared.
This event aims to bridge the gap between the airport environment and the needs of individuals with autism and neurodiverse conditions. This will result in improved services and a more inclusive travel experience for all passengers.

What To Expect
Individuals and/or their families can familiarize themselves with the airport and travel experience. 
• Entering the airport and receiving a swag bag
• Security screening
• Waiting in the lounge to board. Snacks provided.
• Boarding a plane
• Preparing for take-off
• Exiting the plane
• Exiting the airport through CBSA (Customs and baggage hall area)
