Central West – Indoor Autism Only Basketball Program for Autistic Children - Peel
Children ages 6-14 can join their very own autistic basketball team hosted by the Jump Basketball and running weekly every Saturday in November.
Children will have a fun and engaging sport experience with an opportunity to make new friends and work on social skills. Outcomes include learning dribbling, passing and shooting. Short games at the end of each session will be fun, engaging and non-competitive. Participants will receive a T-shirt, a medal at the end and everyone gets their own basketball to use there and to take home.
Equipment: Wear clean indoor shoes, gym clothes or basketball shorts. Bring water bottle for breaks
Note: Caregivers must remain on site.
