Children and Youth Programs

F.A.S.T (Fun, Active, Social Team!) Club: For children and youth with ASD (Ages 5-12) Participants will be divided into teams, and each night will have a “weekly goal” to meet (i.e. waiting my turn, sharing with friends, saying thank you, etc). They will participate in different stations (fine motor focus, gross motor focus, and sensory & exploration) which will seek to offer many opportunities for participants to interact with one another socially, and build their peer relationships.     Adult Supports in Niagara Region

    Our Regional Adult Social Club. This group is for adults 18+ who do not require 1:1 support. Monthly events are organized with the goal of having adults with ASD meet fellow members of their community and have fun taking part in events tailored to their interests.     Si vous cherchez une activité amusante à faire en famille, nous proposons un atelier de construction pour les enfants. Les participant·e·s assembleront un objet en bois à l’aide de divers matériaux, notamment du bois, des clous, de la colle et de la peinture.  Cet événement est gratuit et une inscription préalable est nécessaire.    Les aidant·e·s et le personnel de soutien devront aider les enfants si nécessaire.   

    Veuillez noter que nous nous efforçons d’offrir des billets à autant de familles que possible. Si, pour une raison quelconque, vous avez procédé à votre inscription et ne pouvez plus participer, veuillez nous en informer pour nous permettre d’offrir ces billets à d’autres familles.

    Autisme Ontario vous invite à venir rencontrer d’autres parents, tuteurs et tutrices d’enfants, ados et adultes sur le spectre. Venez découvrir dans le cadre d’activités et de discussions informelles pourquoi vous êtes un parent spectr-aculaire!  

    Ce groupe se veut un lieu de rencontre pour les francophones, animé par des membres du personnel d’Autisme Ontario qui ont hâte de vous accueillir.  

    Les rencontres sont offertes par l’entremise de la plateforme Zoom et sont ouvertes aux francophones de partout en Ontario. Un lien sera envoyé aux personnes inscrites la journée avant l’évènement.

    Merci d’avoir manifesté votre intérêt pour la prochaine session du programme CARES. 

    Afin de permetttre la discussion et les échanges, nous ne pouvons accepter qu’un nombre limité d’aidants par groupe. Nous organisons simultanément plusieurs groupes. Nous vous demandons de ne vous inscrire qu’à un seul groupe. Un(e) Facilitateur/Facilitatrice vous contactera bientôt, par téléphone ou par courriel, pour recueillir quelques autres informations et vous expliquer davantage le programme. Par la suite, une brève séance d’orientation sera offerte avant le début du programme.
