Participants and the music therapist work together using musical interventions to achieve an individual’s non-musical goals. Sessions include initial assessment, formulation of an individualized treatment plan, session documentation, and evaluations. Therapeutic techniques and creative musical interventions are used to bring positive change to the social, communicative, physical, and cognitive health of each participant.

Respite services

・Kindred OT & Co. provides in-home occupational therapy for neurodivergent children, adolescents, and teens in Northumberland County and surrounding areas.
・Nature-based occupational therapy groups are being offered for children ages 6-16 at a magical farm/forest north of Cobourg with a focus on self-regulation, sensory health, and social engagement (summer 2024).
・Consultation-based virtual services are available across Ontario for ADHD and/or autistic women (self-diagnoses welcome).

Certified Nutritionists and Dietitians completing nutrition assessments and provide nutritional counselling and supplement programs. Can also complete food sensitivity testing and other blood work/lab tests with our Naturopath Doctor

We offer identity-affirming psychotherapy for Autistic and racialized children, youth, and adults who are making sense of their lived experiences, reclaiming their narratives, and defining their identities. We emphasize that collaboration is a crucial piece of our work together because only you can tell whether you need support in things like:
- expressing and understanding emotions
- implementing boundaries
- using effective coping strategies such as stimming
- celebrating your unique identity
- navigating a society that's not created for you

We provide ABA / IBI and individual counselling for toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children and teens with autism. For IBI, we have adopted the model the Early Start Denver Model and all staff have received Level 1 training. We offer group sessions on PD days and summer camps in the summer.

Launch Behavioural Health provides evidence based services for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. Services include:

-Comprehensive and Focused Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), including one to one direct services, parent coaching, behaviour support, toileting, and sleep consultations
-Psychological assessment, including developmental, diagnostic, and Autism assessments
-Psychological therapy
-Social skills groups

Services are provided in person and online, as clinically appropriate. All services are supervised by a registered psychologist and/or a BCBA/BCBA-D.

We have been providing services across Ontario for over 25 years. At our assessment clinic we offer diagnostic and psycho-educational assessments. Across Ontario, we provide ABA, Behaviour Management, 1to1 support in classrooms, social skills, life skills, respite, tutoring, counselling, mentoring and ICR Therapy.

We are a group of speech language pathologists who offer speech therapy services to autistic children and their families. We have in-clinic options and we work in the community as well. Comprehensive speech-language assessments are offered and treatment is client-focused with meaningful and relevant goals in place. We love what we do and we are energized to work with our families and their communities who support them.

LearningRx provides cognitive skills training that empowers anyone of any age to learn faster and easier. Tutoring and other learning programs reinforce WHAT students must learn (information). LearningRx identifies and strengthens the skills behind HOW students learn and strengthen cognitive skills. Our research-based programs have proven effective in helping individuals with Autism, learning disabilities, Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and more.
