Brampton-10 Week Martial Arts Program (Parental Participation Required)
Registration opens August 20 at 11:00AM
Children with ASD, ages 7-18, are invited to attend 8-weeks of private martial arts class in Brampton at the Academy of Martial Arts. This program will teach fundamentals of martial arts, with a focus on adapted instruction for all participants.
Students will learn:
- Focus
- Anti-bullying and how to avoid a bad situation
- Standing self defence and ground self defence.
- Self-confidence

Program Cost
The Academy of Martial Arts Mississauga/South Oakville have extended preferential pricing to Autism Ontario families. This 8 week program is being offered at an extremely low cost of INSERT which includes 8 weeks of program and a uniform. Payment is to be made directly to the AMA program, but pre-registration with Autism Ontario is required.
Registration Drop-In Date; [DATE]
Academy of Martial Arts has organized a drop-in date for families participating in the 10 week program! Families are able to drop off their registration form, pay for the 10 week program, visit the studio, pick-up their uniform, and meet the instructors. If you aren’t able to make this date, please contact cpercival@amadojo.com to make alternative arrangements. Participants must complete this requirements to participate on the first day.

Families will be asked to download the Academy of Martial Arts registration form donwloadable below and return completed form to Academy of Martial Arts during Registration Drop in-Date or at a pre-arranged time with the Academy of Martial Arts. This program is open to all families in Central West including Peel, Halton, Hamilton, Wellington, and Waterloo
Supervision of children/youth at this program is the sole responsibility of parents/guardians and caregivers; childcare will not be provided. Caregivers must remain present during the program.
This program is intended for individuals with ASD only. Siblings are not allowed to be in the dojo classroom, and are not be left unattended in the waiting room. If you will be bringing a sibling to wait with an accompanying adults, please ensure that the sibling is not interrupting or distracting the karate class.
