*NEW* Hugga Honey

Available to purchase at 2F Tremont Dr, St. Catharines and the Autism Ontario Niagara Region Chapter Office: Nutrabee's new product HUGGA HONEY!

Hugga Honey is a new product being offered by NutraBee™ with the net proceeds from every bottle sold going to support Autism Ontario – Niagara Region Chapter to help fund programs and services for children with autism.

All of the gourmet honey products made by NutraBee™ are made from 100% pure unprocessed Canadian Honey. Hugga Honey is made from NutraBee’s wildflower Honey that is rich in nutrients and contains anti-microbal properties.

NutraBee™ was founded in 2000 by Fatima Basic (known by many as “Mrs. Bee”) and with the assistance of her husband, Saban Basic, they have grown this truly local, family business into one of the top gourmet honey suppliers in the Niagara Region, Canada and overseas.

The decision to dedicate the proceeds from Hugga Honey to support Autism Ontario – Niagara Region Chapter was inspired by Medin Basic, Fatima and Saban’s 11 year old grandson. Medin was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2 and since then he and his family have accessed many of the programs and services offered by the Niagara Region Chapter. The product name, Hugga Honey, was also inspired by Medin. Many individuals with autism exhibit self-stimulatory behaviors, or “stims”. Stimming is the repetition of movements or sounds that can often be very self-soothing for an individual. Ever since Medin was little, his verbal stim has been saying the phrase “Hugga Hugga” so from this, the name Hugga Honey was born.

Hugga Honey is $15 a jar and can be purchased at NutraBee’s™ Head Office (2F Tremont Drive, Unit 1, St. Catharines, ON, L2T 3B2)

Special thanks to all those involved in this fundraising initiative:
