One-to-One Summer Support Worker Reimbursement Fund

Autism Ontario is happy to announce that the 2016 One to One Summer Support Worker Reimbursement Fund is now open for application.

We will accept all applications received between May 2, and June 3, 2016 and have a random draw to determine eligibility.

Family Funding Programs Application

Autism Ontario - Peterborough is pleased to be offering subsidized funding for qualified individuals. This year, there will be two funding pools: one with a March deadline (for activities between September 2015 to March 2016) and one with a June deadline (for Summer 2016 activities). Individuals may apply for one subsidy only.

Autism Ontario Scholarship Opportunities

Autism Ontario is now accepting applications for the following scholarships:

  • Eleanor Ritchie Education Scholarship for individuals on the spectrum entering the first year of a post-secondary program
  • Jeanette Holden Educational Scholarship for siblings o a person on the spectrum who are entering the first year of a post-secondary program

Learning Disabilities Association - Job Fit Program (Free!)

Job Fit in Lindsay a 6-week Employment Preparedness Program designed to address the needs and challenges of individuals diagnosed or suspected to be living with a learning disability and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) who are 18 years of age or older, and currently unemployed or underemployed.

Adult Group Keene Fundraiser

Our adult group held a fundraiser on December 12 in Keene. Thanks to the support of the community, the group raised $350! Thanks to all who helped out with donations, and a special thank you to Marg, Katherine, Gina, Zach and Ebony - our sales force for the day.

Thank you for another successful bowl-a-thon!

Our bowl-a-thon was back again on Sunday, October 25. Friends came out in their Halloween costumes to help support Autism Ontario - Peterborough. All funds raised go directly to the chapter and its events in this area.

33 bowlers attended the event and a total of $2146.10 was raised! Funds were raised through bowling sponsors, the silent auction and a 50/50 draw.

Autism Ontario - Peterborough extends a HUGE thank you to all who made this fundraising event such a success. We couldn't have done it without you!
