Creatively Communicating - Teen Group
A skill and support group for teens on the spectrum focused on developing social skills and self confidence, creative self-expression and emotion regulation. Offering a safe, virtual, interactive space to learn new skills and interact with peers.

Cooking classes with one-on-one support for verbal & literate adults & adolescents on the spectrum. Social-communication skill development is incorporated in the cooking class & the meal shared afterwards. Our task-analyzed recipes are collected in a cookbook sold around the world on our website.

Mental Health and Wellness support. Our non-profit organization serves as a wellness and social hub for autistic people of all ages and offers wellness coaching, education and advocacy for individuals with autism, their caregivers , friends and families. We aim to improve individuals ability to cope with mental health conditions commonly co-occurring with Autism.

Adult day program and we also offer camp at the day program for 12 years and older; for March break, summer and PA days. We also offer Respite in home and in the community for every age group and brokering services for passport funding

We provide complete dentistry and oral surgery with anaesthesia

Goodwill’s T.E.A.M (Transitional Employment And Mentorship) program is designed to assist people with disabilities to obtain and identify skills while working towards integration in the community through employment, volunteerism or participation in a recreational program.

T.E.A.M participants attend an 8 week program and are given an opportunity to access experience through a simulated setting on a variety of tasks with a focus on computer training, janitorial, food services and customer service. Participants are also offered a variety of workshops to help with job readiness and life skills.

We offer recreational programs weekly in addition to all day Saturday respite programs. During the summer months, we offer one-to-one and group support each week. We also have a Virtual Buddy program that provides a mentor relationship with a full-vetted volunteer from the community on an online platform.

Speech-Language Pathologist providing comprehensive assessment and intervention for paediatric clients across a range of service needs. Early intervention supports focus heavily on developing joint attention, early interactional skills, functional communication (verbal and/or augmentative), and social communication abilities. Later intervention focuses heavily on expanding social communication skills, increasing functional communication, developing/expanding literacy development, and supporting oral language development. Comprehensive language assessments are provided to help guide academic planning and support overall receptive and expressive language development.

We Communicate provides private speech-language pathology services for children and their families in order to get inspired, be supported and take action towards stronger communication skills. Services are available through in-person services (currently on pause due to COVID-19) and video conferencing (aka telepractice).

wm+a provides direct specialized services to individuals with complex needs; ASD, Mental Health Disorders and behavioural challenges. Services are client-focused, goal oriented and follow an evidence based model. We have adapted to the current circumstances by adding virtual service (online) options.
